Through this project, Dinycon SL has worked together with the Zaragoza City Council in the solution of the capacity control of the Pilar festivities. The large number of visitors to the fairgrounds makes the center of the city of Zaragoza a space of great influx. The city area receives more than a million visitors, vehicle traffic increases significantly, saturating access to the area and making it essential to have a reliable control system.
“Only in the first two days, Plaza del Pilar in Zaragoza registered 248,453 people. These data come from the 27 counting cameras that have been installed for the first time at the entrances to the Plaza del Pilar to know in real time the occupancy figures of this emblematic and central space of the Fiestas del Pilar.”

"Between October 4 and 13, Plaza del Pilar has registered 1,186,024 accesses and the Flow, the sum of entrances and exits, of 2,938,807 people; it is the figure offered by the new automated people counting system that has been installed for these Festivities and that, for the first time, accurately, allows us to know the influx of public to the big events in the square".
