The city of Santander is immersed in the development of the Smart Santander project, an initiative financed by the European Union that aims to make it a benchmark in terms of Smart Cities. It includes pioneering initiatives for experimentation in intelligent urban services. In this phase, 350 wireless sensors were installed buried in the parking spaces for their management, in the area closest to the port.
