This context increases the risks associated with speeding in urban environments, particularly in residential areas, school zones, and locations with high pedestrian activity, where traffic calming measures are essential to ensure road safety and improve coexistence between vehicles and pedestrians.
Within the framework of the Calvià Smart Tourist Destination (DTI) strategy, focused on digitalization, sustainability, and improving quality of life through technology, the municipality has committed to innovative solutions to enhance road safety. In this context, Dinycon has deployed a pedagogical speed radar solution based on real-time speed monitoring and visual warning alerts, designed to raise driver awareness, reduce accident risk, and improve safety without resorting to punitive measures.
