1st Go Mobility Fair - 27-28 November 2018

On 27th and 28th November we participated as exhibitors at the 1st Go Mobility Fair, focused on the sustainable mobility and energy storage industry, which was held at FICOBA.

It was the first industrial exhibition of sustainable mobility of the future in southern Europe and brought together 70 exhibitors from the Basque Country, France, Germany, Chile, India, Israel, Italy, Portugal and the United Kingdom. It is estimated that around 1,500 visitors attended, including national and foreign buyers.

Companies from various sectors showcased their solutions for the mobility of the future.

Manufacturers such as IRIZAR, SEAT, CAF, NISSAN, have exhibited vehicles and electric motors that will be present in our environment “perhaps sooner than we expect” and also those that will facilitate the transition to this new way of moving.

Another important part of the transition to this future is batteries.

Dinycon presented its DinyPARK solution which, in its specifications for traffic, tracking, city and PRM, is already optimising mobility in several cities in Spain (Aranda de Duero, Donostia, Amorebieta).

In addition, with the help of our partner SQAdrones, we are working on traffic analysis (at specific road locations, such as roundabouts or busy roads) so that the competent authorities can use this data to optimise the use of roads.

We have also collaborated with Avigilon - a company that designs, develops and manufactures video analytics and network video management software and hardware, video surveillance cameras and access control solutions.

In the presentation “Bidemap: pedestrian mobility and smart streets”, our CEO Roberto García presented the success story of Smartkalea in the Old Part of Donostia-San Sebastian. In this presentation he explained the construction of a predictive model of pedestrian mobility, which will allow the different actors (Administration, Commerce, Tourism...) to improve their management based on the prediction obtained with this model.

Eight other cities presented their mobility problems and how they have been tackled in each case.

The exhibiting companies agreed that it was a good opportunity to make contact with suppliers, buyers and even to establish collaboration agreements with competing companies.
