DINYCON PARTICIPATES IN NATIONAL EVENTS ON SUSTAINABILITY AND INNOVATION

Seminar: Participation of Dinycon Sistemas in SMARTCITY and Intelligent Mobility

In the last two weeks, Dinycon Sistemas has been very active participating in international events and challenges. On the 3rd of June, our CEO, Roberto García, gave a presentation at the SMARTCITIES and Smart Mobility conference organised by the Guipuzkoa Chamber of Commerce, Guipuzkoa Provincial Council, SPRI Group, and the Basque Government. On this occasion we commented on our experiences in the field of capacity control for beaches and smart parking; technical considerations, challenges and the Safe Beaches 2021 campaign. Other speakers included Iñaki Baro Garín (Donostia City Council), Fernando Zubillaga (Mobility and Logistics Cluster of the Basque Country) and Ane Insausti Altuna (Mubil) among others. The event addressed topics on mobility in smart cities, energy demand management, connected vehicles, parking management, micro mobility and transport infrastructure. Thus, our intervention offered a contrast that generated a lot of interest especially from the current point of view with the pandemic of covid-19, and that fits perfectly into the discourse of how to improve the quality of life of citizens within the context of smart cities.

Final: Presentation to the jury of the Safe Beaches Capacity Control proposal

A few days later, on 8 June, we took part in the final of the first edition of the Dinapsis Open Challenge held in Benidorm (Alicante). You can see our presentation HERE (minutes 27" to 38"). This has been an initiative of Dinapsis and Hidraqua as an international program of innovation for a more sustainable tourism model to which 91 solutions have been presented by 57 startups from Italy, France, Finland and Spain. Dinycon Sistemas was fortunate to be in the final along with four other innovative proposals, in which the companies Green Urban Data and CicloGreen won first and second prize respectively.

During the event, the secretary of the autonomy of Valencia, Francesc Colomer praised the development of technological solutions at the service of an important cause such as "helping to improve the tourist destination that is Benidorm", noting that "tourists will choose more sustainable, efficient and safe destinations". From Dinycon Sistemas, we send a warm greeting and congratulations to the winners of the challenge, and we wish both them and Dinapsis, that the pilot project to be carried out in Benidorm achieves all the objectives proposed in the program. Thank you for considering our solution of Capacity Control for Beaches in the final of the Dinapsis Open Challenge, see you next year with new innovative proposals!
